Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

At Macdonald’s Home Health Care, our Sales Assistants play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Team, clients, and healthcare professionals. This position encompasses responsibilities similar to Sales Administration, with additional duties such as driving, delivering, and making mechanical adjustments. While prior sales experience is not required, mechanical aptitude is essential. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Seating & Mobility Consultants, assisting with core aspects of the sales process, including paperwork, administrative duties, phone support, deliveries, and adjustments.
The Sales Assistant position is designed as a developmental role, with the goal of preparing the individual for future opportunities within the company. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, maintain a positive attitude amidst changing priorities, and be physically capable of lifting heavy items and assisting with service deliveries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handling and coordinating a high volume of phone calls, emails, and appointments
  • Preparing and organizing paperwork, including quotes and work orders for the Sales Team
  • Coordinating deliveries and installations with healthcare professionals
  • Providing support to all members of the Sales Team as their go-to person in the office
  • Promptly preparing quotations and work orders
  • General administration tasks
  • Providing accurate inventory count updates as required
  • Selling equipment such as walkers and bathroom aids
  • Delivering, setting up, and adjusting equipment for clients
  • Assisting with service deliveries and making mechanical adjustments
