An opportunity has arisen in the UK Sales & Business Development team for a Sales & Business Development Executive for a number of sales and business development campaigns in different Mission areas of UKSBD. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a number of key business winning areas, working within a vibrant team at an exciting time for the company!
Job Title: Sales & Business Development Executive
Salary: Circa £80,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage or Bristol (we may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically, 2 to 3 days per week on-site (or with customers), due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Responsibilities:

  • A high degree of self-motivation and drive, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are a key, along with the ability to develop positive relationships within MBDA and with external partners.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of missile systems business and industry.
  • Good understanding and experience of dealing with the UK Customer community, organisation, and processes.
  • Broad and in-depth business, technical, commercial background and experience.
  • Proven business winning skills
