MyFundAction is an internationally recognised Not-For-Profit organisation who aim to better the lives of those less fortunate both locally and globally. They help provide food aid, education, and medical relief by empowering and equipping young leaders to make change.
If you have a talent for closing sales and want to utilise your skills in a meaningful way, then we want to hear from you! In this role, you will follow the fundraising process from start to finish. You will be responsible for reaching out to new clients, developing those relationships into corporate partnerships and closing the sale.
You will need to be a confident communicator and not afraid to initiate conversations with leads. You will also do a lot of pitching, proposals and presentations to ensure potential clients are well informed of who they are partnering with and what kind of impact their partnership will provide.
Duties include:
- Actively finding leads for new partners in NZ and Australia, promoting the organisations values and purpose
- Preparing proposals to pitch to corporate partners
- Closing and processing sales
- Creating presentations that represent MyFundAction appropriately
- Liaising and collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Travelling to various locations across New Zealand and potentially overseas
You will need to have:
- 1+ year experience in a similar position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence in problem solving
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proven relationship-building skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
Bachelor’s degree qualification preferred
For this role you can be based anywhere in New Zealand!
