Job Duties:

  • Welcome customers to the Dealership, and build a relationship of trust and demonstrate serious commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in selecting vehicles, by asking them questions and listening carefully to their answers, in order to identify their needs.
  • Discuss with potential customers the vehicle’s product performance, functioning and advantages.
  • Describe any optional equipment the customer might purchase.
  • Offer vehicle road test to potential customer; follow Dealership procedures to obtain the appropriate identity documents from the customer before the vehicle road test.
  • Explain the terms and conditions of leasing versus purchasing vehicles, based on customer needs.
  • Establish an appropriate method of payment, based on customer needs.
  • Obtain the required information and complete all documents required to prepare for a sale.
  • Know and understand the concepts of equity and residual value and be able to explain the principles of depreciation to the customer.
  • Negotiate the vehicle price and have the transaction approved by the Sales Managers
  • Forward 100% of the completed transactions to the Financial Services Manager, together with all the duly completed documentation (insurance information, the title for the transaction, etc.)
  • Adequately prepare customers and provide them with information, in order to take maximum advantage of meetings with the Financial Services Manager.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and strong client relationships.
  • Ensure detailed vehicle delivery and follow-up on customer requests.
  • Personalize each vehicle delivery experience.
  • Perform assigned additional duties.

Successful Candidates Possess:

  • 1-3 Years in a sales background.
  • Valid OMVIC certification.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under all circumstances to deliver exceptional service to customers
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Professional demeanour and appearance.
  • Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills self-motivated with excellent work ethic.
  • Loves a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills and understanding of technology.
