Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales/Corporate Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality sales, with a focus on corporate clientele. This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth and expand our business partnerships in the corporate sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities within the corporate market segment, including but not limited to corporate events, conferences, corporate transient accommodations, crew accommodations and group bookings.
- Proactively researches and solicits new and repeat account opportunities through the use of prospecting techniques such as outside sales calls (pre-qualified and cold calls), telephone, websites, databases, trade shows, feeder market sales trips and other new business lead opportunities
- Conducts property site tours and entertains clients in-house or off-site
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to exceed their expectations.
- Collaborates with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities to attract corporate clients.
- Represents the hotel and conference center at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our services and expand our client base.
- Prepares and presents sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the value proposition of our offerings.
- Works closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events and exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitors market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in hospitality sales, with a focus on corporate business development, minimum 3 years.
- Strong network of contacts within the corporate sector and a track record of successful client acquisition and retention.
- Experience in pursuing corporate transient and crew accommodation opportunities is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
