Marine Global Business Support Centre (GBSC) is looking for a Sales Data Controller to join the agile Project Creation team. GBSC is a global competence and expertise centre for FICO activities in project business within the Marine businesses. The main functions are project creation, trade finance, invoicing, project control, and reporting. GBSC is responsible for ensuring high class quality in optimised processes and usage of tools. The team is looking for an eager and productive doer with spontaneous attitude and good problem-solving skills. For the Sales Data Controller Trainee we provide a versatile position with global insight to Wärtsilä Marine Business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Our Sales Data Controllers are responsible for creating customer delivery projects into SAP globally. As a Sales Data Controller trainee your main responsibilities are for example:

• Creation of Marine customer delivery projects in SAP based on input from Sales
• Transfer of delivery scope and cost plans to SAP
• Creation of external and internal sales orders according to the contractual payment terms
• Maintenance and co-ordination of various project related master data i.e. equipment, customers, installation and product materials
• Ensuring accurate data quality in Marine customer delivery projects for execution and order intake reporting purposes
• Developing way of working within own responsibility area

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE?

• M.Sc or B.Sc in Business Economics
• Experience in SAP (especially PS and SD-modules)
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2010 and newer
• Good understanding of Marine Project Business is seen as benefit
• Good ability to utilize common office software
• Good command in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work both independently and in the team
• Flexibility, co-operation skills and willingness to learn and grow
