YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You are pro-active, driven and self-motivated, with a keen ability to quickly identify opportunities.
  • You have first-class communication skills, and are confident speaking to new people on the phone and reaching out to them to gather information.
  • You have previous experience in a customer-facing role, either face-to-face, or on the phone.
  • You have experience working with CRM systems and other database systems.
  • You are adept at building positive working relationships with multiple different stakeholders and are able to flex your approach depending on the person.
  • You have a basic understanding of architectural drawings and plans.

It would also be an advantage if you:

  • Have experience using Glenigan and knowledge of VELUX products
  • Have a background in Sales, lead generation and qualification

Responsibilities:

At our office in Glenrothes, you will join our Sales team and work within a team of highly innovative and skilled colleagues. Our Sales team collaborate across the whole pipeline and you will be an important part of developing and growing our pipeline of upcoming project opportunities.
As a Project Sales Developer, you will source, investigate, follow-up on and qualify potential lead/opportunities for VELUX.

More specifically, you will:

  • Deliver against volume and value growth targets by proactively sourcing and qualifying leads using our databases.
  • Reach out to a wide-range of stakeholders, including architects, developers, contractors, house builders and merchants, to hold fact-finding conversations and gather as much information as you can about the projects and their suitability.
  • Build strong and effective relationships with the wider Sales team, and your key stakeholders.
  • Review building plans and architect drawings to assess suitability and potential of projects.
  • Develop excellent product knowledge to effectively support stakeholders and provide valuable solutions and recommendations that enhance both volume and value growth.
