Description:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated success in sales, with a minimum of one-two years of experience, consistently surpassing lead targets.
- Excellent communication abilities, both over the phone and through email.
- Proven capacity for creative problem-solving and robust analytical skills.
- Strong ambition and aptitude for advancing within a sales organization.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience as a sales development representative, achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software, enhancing productivity and effectiveness in managing leads.
A solid base salary of up to £45,000 DOE and £65,000 OTE generous holidays, pension and private health care.
This position you’ll be expected to be in the office 4 days per week and 1 day working from home.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of our rapidly expanding global team, we’re currently bolstering our London headquarters and seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Cloud Sales Development Representative (SDR). This position is integral to supporting hyper-growth SaaS and ISV startups in managing and optimizing their cloud billing, onboarding, and utilization processes.
Reporting directly to our Head of Sales, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating our top of funnel pipeline. Your responsibilities will involve engaging directly with customers to qualify their needs and build a relationship with VeUP. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:
- Showcase Veup’s cloud products and services with deep understanding and consumer insights, demonstrating how our solutions precisely address customer requirements.
- Drive lead generation and foster relationships by cultivating warm leads and uncovering potential sales opportunities.
- Effectively manage and nurture a pipeline of interested prospects, collaborating with sales representatives to advance opportunities.
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance Veup’s lead-generation strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize Salesforce, along with proactive prospecting and targeted emailing, to generate new sales prospects in the cloud market.
- Understand the unique needs of prospects and recommend suitable Veup products or services to address those needs.
- Establish trust-based relationships with prospects to qualify them as viable sales leads.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities within the cloud industry landscape.
- Facilitate meetings or calls between potential customers and our sales executives.
- Provide regular reports on sales results to the sales manager on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
