Description:
Podium Property Insights is currently searching for an experienced Sales Director for Asia. We are a PropTech SaaS startup, incubated by Lendlease and Accenture, in partnership with Google Cloud. Our AI platform and ecosystem empowers commercial real estate asset managers to make better, faster decisions to enhance the performance and valuation of their properties.
As the Sales Director, Asia, you will be responsible for delivering new business sales revenue from a SaaS licence model. You will be responsible for managing both direct and channel partner opportunities through origination, qualification, sales pursuit and conversion, with a quarterly quota and commission structure.
The Sales Director, Asia will play a critical role in supporting the growth of the Podium Property Insights business by delivering new business sales revenue from a SaaS licence model. The successful candidate will be dynamic and results-driven, bringing strong enterprise SaaS sales experience, client management skills, and a passion for delivering for customers.
As our vision grows, so does our team, with an opportunity for a passionate Sales Director to join our Podium Property Insights (PPI) team. The Sales Director, Asia will extend market awareness of the Podium products and platform by capturing market insights and promoting customer interest. You will proactively generate and build relationships with key buyers and decision-makers within Commercial and Enterprise Customers and will establish qualification and win strategies to ensure deals are winnable and deliverable. You will demonstrate to customers how PPI can deliver value and achieve their business outcomes and will support the management of customer relationships through the lifecycle.
Your roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategic
- Build relationships with Commercial and Enterprise Customers to achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas for an assigned territory.
- Develop, qualify, pursue, and convert both direct sale and channel partner sale prospects.
- Partner with the Product, Marketing and Customer Success teams to continuously improve product collateral and roadmap based on customer feedback.
- Advise and support Leadership Team in scaling out a high-performing sales team within region in line with revenue growth targets.
Technical
- Develop and run a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list, and a regional sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in the region.
- Work closely with channel partners to drive sales through indirect channels, providing training and support to maximise their effectiveness.
- Partner with the marketing team to initiate marketing plans to increase growth.
- Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
- Arrange and conduct initial product demonstrations and presentations.
- Prepare quotes, negotiate and complete contract documentation (in partnership with Commercial/Legal manager and relevant partners).
- Partner with the Customer Success team in account management to ensure customer satisfaction and improve additional revenue streams.
Your Background
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in an Account Executive (or equivalent role) selling to Commercial Real Estate Asset Managers and/or Corporate Real Estate functions within the Region.
- Experience achieving sales targets
- Executive-level relationship management expertise
- Degree, certification, qualification or equivalent experience in Information Technology or Business or closely related field preferred.
- Devotion to customers
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience establishing trusted relationships with current and prospective clients and other teams
