At Applied Medical, we are looking for a proactive and communicative Sales Effective Manager to join our team. As a Sales Effectiveness Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying sales opportunities. With your in-depth knowledge of relevant surgical procedures and products, you will support the implementation of sales processes and drive change for the European sales teams. By providing valuable insights based on hospital and patient needs, competitive analysis, and developments in the healthcare market, you help shaping our sales strategies.
For our international and dynamic environment, where business evolves fast, we are looking for a flexible person who is able to adapt to new circumstances easily. You are self-motivated and like to work independently, seeking opportunities and establishing tasks and priorities.
You will cooperate with an international team, consisting of the Sales Management of the different European countries where we are active, the Market Implementation Managers and Clinical Development. You will report to the Manager Field Effectiveness.
Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Field Effectiveness Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Life Science, or another relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical product management, or market research
  • Experience in leading cross-functional marketing projects, including marketing plans, product launches and campaigns within the healthcare industry
  • Experience with working with Key Thought Leaders and leading customer facing programs
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and work with multiple stakeholders within a matrix organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and presentation abilitie

Responsibilities:

  • Provide key data and insights by research and analysis to enable decision makers to make informed current business and future strategy decisions to achieve business objectives
  • Evaluate the needs and drivers of potential customers throughout Europe through regular contact to understand segmentation and targeting variables
  • Analyze competitor product and pricing to identify challenges or potential opportunities
  • Set direction for key product segments that are consistent with the company’s objectives and strategies
  • Lead the creation and implementation of product strategies (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning)
  • Identify where improvements are needed to meet long-term strategies and to effectively and efficiently use resources to achieve the strategic goals
  • Develop sales support tools and trainings to support the successful product implementation in the European market
  • Act as reference point for questions and advice and prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
