Job Description: Sales Engineer - Electronic Security Systems
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer specializing in Electronic Security Systems to join our dynamic sales team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our comprehensive range of electronic security solutions to clients and businesses. Your technical expertise, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, will enable you to effectively understand customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and Generate Leads: Research, identify, and develop new business opportunities within the electronic security systems market. Proactively seek out potential clients, build relationships, and generate qualified leads.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer requirements, challenges, and pain points related to electronic security systems. Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide tailored recommendations to meet their specific needs. Present technical proposals and solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Product Demonstrations and Presentations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients. Showcase the features, advantages, and benefits of our electronic security systems, addressing technical queries and concerns effectively.
- Solution Design and Proposal Development: Collaborate with the technical team to design and customize electronic security system solutions that align with customer needs. Develop comprehensive proposals, including cost estimates, scope of work, and project timelines.
- Negotiation and Closing: Engage in pricing negotiations and contract discussions with customers. Work closely with the sales team to ensure successful deal closure, meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and consultants. Provide ongoing customer support and act as a technical point of contact to address post-sales inquiries and issues.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities. Conduct market research to identify new market segments, potential partnerships, and business growth opportunities.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and project management, to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer satisfaction. Share industry knowledge and best practices within the sales team.

- Proven experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles within the electronic security systems industry.
- Strong understanding of electronic security systems, such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.
- Proficient knowledge of electronic security system technologies, including hardware, software, and integration capabilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic security systems.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and design comprehensive security solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
