Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least five years of industrial sales experience is preferred.
  • Willing to travel 75% of the time, with some overnight stays each month.
  • Mechanically inclined, a background in manufacturing or mechanics is preferred.
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair our products in manufacturing plants.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and deadlines in a remote work setting.
  • Lives within the designated sales territory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to walk through multiple manufacturing facilities in one sitting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to drive up to 250 miles a day.
  • Must be able to sit in a car for up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to climb, reach, pull, and squat regularly.

Responsibilities:

  • 80% of this role will be to secure new industrial accounts for the company throughout the assigned territory to achieve sales goals and profit sales.
  • 20% of this role will manage existing accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Be a responsive and prompt point of contact for purchasing and plant managers to existing and future clients.
  • While onsite with clients, provide mechanical solutions to any issues and troubleshoot any mechanical errors.
  • Demonstrate KYOCERA SENCO products and capabilities to prospective and current clients and travel to regional and national trade shows.
  • Develop sales and marketing plans, formulate proposals, and provide industrial expertise on sales calls.
  • Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels.
  • Communicate regularly with different departments throughout the company to support the customer and ensure the sales process is smooth from start to finish.
  • Manage inventory and ensure all sales reports are accurate and turned in on time.
