Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least five years of industrial sales experience is preferred.
- Willing to travel 75% of the time, with some overnight stays each month.
- Mechanically inclined, a background in manufacturing or mechanics is preferred.
- Able to troubleshoot and repair our products in manufacturing plants.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and deadlines in a remote work setting.
- Lives within the designated sales territory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to walk through multiple manufacturing facilities in one sitting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to drive up to 250 miles a day.
- Must be able to sit in a car for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to climb, reach, pull, and squat regularly.
Responsibilities:
- 80% of this role will be to secure new industrial accounts for the company throughout the assigned territory to achieve sales goals and profit sales.
- 20% of this role will manage existing accounts in the assigned territory.
- Be a responsive and prompt point of contact for purchasing and plant managers to existing and future clients.
- While onsite with clients, provide mechanical solutions to any issues and troubleshoot any mechanical errors.
- Demonstrate KYOCERA SENCO products and capabilities to prospective and current clients and travel to regional and national trade shows.
- Develop sales and marketing plans, formulate proposals, and provide industrial expertise on sales calls.
- Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels.
- Communicate regularly with different departments throughout the company to support the customer and ensure the sales process is smooth from start to finish.
- Manage inventory and ensure all sales reports are accurate and turned in on time.
