We are looking for a Sales Engineer that wants to make an impact in a growing SaaS-based Data Platform company. This role is responsible for leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business success and a genius in translating complex technical solutions into tangible value propositions for customers. As a Sales Engineer you will participate in every part of the Sales Process, contribute to POVs, and run technical demonstrations. As a key member of our sales team, you’ll be responsible for bridging the gap between our innovative Data Platform offering and our clients’ unique business needs. You’ll work closely with our sales and product development teams to understand customer requirements, craft tailored solutions, and demonstrate the value of our platform to prospects.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED TO HAVE:

  • Be fluent in English and German
  • 4+ years’ experience as a technical/data/pre-sales Consultant.
  • Have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and development and the desire to grow in your role and with the company.
  • Be technically savvy with a deep desire to build and support relationships and expand product use within a customer environment.
  • Possess good judgment with consultative, problem solving, and escalation resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL is highly preferred and Python or R experience is nice-to-have.
  • Daily working experience with Salesforce, Google products, Slack, Salesforce, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Consultation: Collaborating with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements, and providing expert guidance on how our Platform can address their data challenges and drive growth.
  • Solution Guidance: Help our Customers to leverage our data platform to solve complex problems, maximize efficiency, and optimize ROI for our clients.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conducting engaging and interactive demonstrations of Keboola, showcasing its features, capabilities, and benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proof of Value Development: You manage the progress and initialization of Proof of Values and together with our customers you create the KPIs that show the value of Keboola!
  • Technical Support: Serving as a technical liaison between our clients and internal teams, providing ongoing support throughout the sales cycle and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
  • Thought Leadership: Staying up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings, and sharing your expertise internally to inform product development and enhance our sales strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifying areas for process improvement, tool enhancement, or skill development to streamline sales processes and drive overall team performance.
  • Professional level of communication, design, and documentation of work based on MEDDPICC Sales Framework and Value based Sales Methodology.
