Sie werden eng mit den Kunden zusammenarbeiten, um deren Bedürfnisse zu verstehen und die Produkte und Dienstleistungen von Eriez zu fördern.

REQUIREMENTS
- Educational background in mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable qualification would be advantageous
- Experience in selling machines and system components in a B2B environment
- Experience and knowledge in the light industry and processing markets (packaging, plastics, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, chemical etc.); experience within the recycling industry would be advantageous
- Must be fluent in German and English
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong prospecting and networking skills with an ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel within assigned territories
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining existing customer relationships within the light industry markets (e.g. food, packaging, plastics, pharmaceuticals). You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and promote Eriez’s products and services. The successful candidate can be based anywhere in Germany.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and prospect potential customers within light industry markets (e.g. food, packaging, plastics, pharmaceuticals) through cold calling, lead generation, networking, and other sales tactics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Understand the needs of customers and recommend appropriate Eriez products and services to meet their requirements
- Implementation of Eriez wider sales strategy
- Negotiate and close sales deals, achieving weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets
- Provide regular sales reports, including forecasted sales and territory analysis
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing campaigns
- Consistent maintenance of CRM and ERP systems
