Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Company with a world-leading Cyber Security offering utilised by MSPs and Resellers. The company also has a very sticky ecosystem that includes a Remote Monitoring tool and Workflow Management tools.
You will be joining a fast-growing team within the business solutions branch, where career progression is happening at a fast rate internally. This would be ideal for someone who wants to step up from a senior technical support role or someone from a Technical Sales or Sales Engineering background. With education at the heart of this Company’s beliefs, you will never stop learning.
The role was created due to 30% growth in the last 12 months and an aggressive acquisition plan focused on cementing its position as the go-to Tech vendor for MSPs and IT Resellers.
This is a hybrid role working as part of a closely knit team with an office near Town Hall.
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for demonstrating the value proposition of the
Unified Monitoring & Management (UMM) business unit provides technical guidance to prospects and communicates partner feedback for future product developments. You’ll use technical knowledge of product and service offerings to drive sales support, generate a pipeline, and help create an overall successful adoption of the product/service, from implementation to onboarding.
Some of the duties will include;
- Responsible for representing technical aspects of the suite of products and proposing how these benefit prospective customers
- Provide technical expertise and independent creative discretion in producing technical and product demonstrations and presentations.
- Execute proof of concepts with prospects at both a technical and business level
- Proactively scope technical solutions required to align product designs to customers’ business by interpreting customer requirements.
- Work independently or as part of a sales team with customers to position technology to both business and technical users and through product capability assessments.
- Prepare, research, and provide input into technical RFPs/RFQs.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of technical sales techniques and processes, including understanding customer needs, overcoming objections, assisting in developing business cases, and closing technical deals.
An ideal applicant will have at least two years of local Technical Sales experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, consultative approach. Experience working for or with MSPs or a Reseller is also required for this role.
