As a Sales Engineer you are responsible for supporting Sales Executives on strategic opportunities. You are brought in as the “special operations” unit to delve into prospect requirements with the purpose of providing total confidence that SiteDocs is the right solution. You will provide confidence through demonstrating a deep knowledge of their business, answering questions, configuring and live demonstrating SiteDocs proof of concepts.

What will you do as a Sales Engineer

  • Accelerate the sales process by providing confidence to prospects
  • Customize and present SiteDocs to meet the needs of prospective clients
  • Leading discovery interactions to uncover needs and pain points
  • Explaining the value of SiteDocs to prospective clients through real world application
  • Provide pre-sales technical and product support to the Sales team
  • Assist Sales in finding creative solutions to prospect needs
  • Assist in the scoping of customization and aid the creation of proposal
  • Surface improvements to our demo processes based on feedback
  • Increase the win % on deals you are part of vs deals that have no Sales Engineer
  • Documenting your progress within Salesforce (CRM)
  • Assist sales in competitive situations by highlighting SiteDocs unique value
  • Be fanatical about our mission, values, and goals

Helpful Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience configuring SiteDocs to meet requirements, building forms and using workflow studio
  • Comfortable leading interactions with executives to align on motivation of requirements
  • Experienced in presenting product demos and being adaptable to adjustments as needed
  • You ask clear and concise questions to get to the root of the prospects needs
  • You are enthusiastic and optimistic and know how to turn lemons into lemonade!
  • You are solution oriented and default to “let’s find a way”
  • You are an articulate and concise communicator
  • Relationship orientated and strong rapport building skills
  • Ambitious, strategic, and passionate about both technology and sales
  • You are a great on-the-spot problem-solver but are humble enough to admit when you don’t know the answer, but will find out.
  • You can build rapport and establish yourself as an expert with prospective clients
