Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

We’re looking for a people-focused Sales Engineering Leader to join our growing organisation. In this role you will coach, support & advocate for our UK & Ireland Sales Engineering team. HiBob Sales Engineers are trusted advisors to our prospects and internal stakeholders who demonstrate the value of the Bob platform through various methods.
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you care about creating and fostering a culture for individuals to thrive and have experience in fast-paced start-up / scale-up SaaS environments. Our Sales Engineers partner directly with Account Executives across the Sales organisation to strategise and win net new business.

EXPECTATIONS FOR THE ROLE:

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of driven and enthusiastic Sales Engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
  • Hire exceptional Sales Engineers with a focus on cultural alignment
  • Ensure that Sales Engineers effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions/services
  • Align with the Regional Sales Director on regional strategies
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as Product, Professional Services, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure alignment and effective communication

Enablement and Development:

  • Work with SMEs across HiBob to build enablement tailored for the Sales Engineers to enhance their technical skills and product knowledge
  • Opportunity Involvement:
  • Coach the deal team on best practice
  • Lead escalations where needed to enable deal progression
  • Coach and assist in the preparation and delivery of technical presentations and demonstrations

Location: HiBob offers a hybrid working model, we expect this role to be based in our amazing London office twice a week to collaborate and interact with both the Sales Engineer, fellow leaders, and the wider local team. You can learn about our hybrid working model here.
