An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Events Executive to join our sales team in The Address Citywest

Responsibilities:

  • The Promotion of Hotel and Cookhouse facilities to prospective Guests/Clients including corporate contracting both for local and national corporate accounts.
  • Weekly proactive corporate telesales, sales calls and site inspections.
  • To strategically manage key accounts and ensure a high level of account management is achieved.
  • To ensure all sales administration work is complete, follow-up calls, research calls, rate contracts etc and communicate all negotiated rates to reservation, front office and accounts.
  • To drive the Hotel’s sales through all relevant channels including:
    o GDS (Global Distribution System)
    o Corporate Direct
    o Corporate Events
    o MICE Channels

o Local Residents

  • In conjunction with the Group Sales and Marketing Team constantly market the business at all opportunities through Website, social media, and Advertising.
  • Responding to customer enquiries, via phone and email.
  • Organising and managing conferences and events within the property.
  • You are the primary contact for all client events and conferences held within The Address Citywest.
  • Manage the conference/events facilities on site, including calendars, to optimise the availability and maximise the client experience through effective planning and smooth delivery of services.
  • Ensure that all queries/requests are handled in a professional and proactive manner to deliver a faultless client experience.
  • You will effectively manage and co-ordinate conference/event enquiries, databases, reports and site inspections.
  • To maintain and continuously develop the company CRM system to ensure the accurate recording of relationships with your customers.
  • To manage and coordinate regular database maintenance with agreed parameters.
  • Understand hotel pricing structure and be familiar with current rates in the market.
  • Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitor analysis.
  • You will manage sales of venue and venue packages, to include site visits and tastings as required.
  • Strive to meet measurable targets and goals as per the performance management plan.
  • To become an active member/colleague of the company sales & marketing team and attend regular hotel and company meetings as required.
