Enterprise Digital Sales (DSE), part of Microsoft’s Digital Sales organization, empowers our customers through the unique value of the Microsoft Cloud by building a globally-led, digital-first scale organization aligned with partners and joining Microsoft in this Digital Sales Organization as the Business Applications Sales Excellence Lead, you will be advising this Business Applications Sales team and coaching sales managers to build the momentum of digital transformation for these customers. The Sales Excellence Lead is a senior sales leader with exceptional relationship, solution selling and coaching skills, who has a proven track record of driving growth in complex and ever-changing business environments and market lifecycles.
You will be part of a select Sales Excellence Team that helps businesses achieve their digital transformation and business goals with Microsoft solutions and partners. Whether your segment is Customer or Partner focused, key to the role is the ability to drive actionable outcomes, guide and optimize the sales process Segment and sales leaders. You will cross-collaborate with other roles to forward-looking performance recommendations of your segment.
This Sales Excellence role will align directly with the geographical Sales Leaders of the Business Applications business within DSE. In this role, the successful candidate will help to run the global Business Applications Business with a distinct Time Zone focus, act as a de facto Sales Leader coaching for growth, and act as the Sales Excellence Representative during monthly, mid-year, and annual fiscal planning. This individual will work directly with DSE teams as those sellers work with Enterprise customers.
We are looking for an outcome-driven Sales Excellence Lead (SEL) to support the Digital Sales for Enterprise Business Applications Sales team’s current and forward-looking business goals. You will drive a predictable Rhythm of Business (ROB) with cross-functional teams to ensure quality four-quarter (4Q) rolling business outcomes. You will work with Segment and Sales leaders to instill sales process discipline on pipeline health management, guide Sales Leaders on Microsoft sales methodologies, and collaborate across roles and segments to proactively seek resolution to manage change within your segment. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years experience with active participation in sales, sales operations/management, account management, program management, business development, marketing, consulting, or a related field
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience using data to drive business outcomes or inform business decisions.
  • 5+ years of experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pipeline Health and Management – Support execution of predictable revenue and consumption growth by segment / solution area and aligned with Microsoft sales methodology standards.
  • Sales Execution - Drive and guide consistent sales excellence discipline, governance and partner insights within and across Enterprise, GPS, SMC-C and SMB.
  • Sales Execution Transformation – Implement evolving and new Microsoft Sales strategies, processes and objectives to drive sustainable growth and improved sales performance.
  • Planning Engagement - Partner with segment leads, Finance, Business and Sales Operations (BSO/SOPM) on fiscal year planning workstreams requiring sales excellence support.
