REQUIREMENTS:

  • Driver’s license
  • Computer literacy (outlook and excel)
  • Ability to work under pressure and travel extensively. You may be required to sleep out frequently.
  • Vehicle in good working order
  • Good knowledge of the geographical area
  • Good knowledge of hospitality industry
  • Technical acumen (Basic networking knowledge, understanding of jargon & comfortable with installation & set-up of programmes)

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Above position is responsible for Sales and related works and Marketing in selected markets/segments in South Africa & handling/growing Company existing AMS/Keycards/Consumable business/SLA in South Africa being based in Johannesburg.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To develop the VingCard, Elsafe and other relevant brand exposure through implementation of the following activities:

  • Regular customer sales & service calls in accordance with your call cycle
  • Liaison between internal admin and customers on all queries (sales, technical, logistics, stock etc.)
  • Liaison with merchandising personnel on AAGS issues on a weekly and monthly base
  • Communication & execution of agreed Key Account activities negotiated by GM with H/O buyers (promotional campaigns, special projects, new product launches, new layouts & displays, counts & stock upliftment)
  • Customer relationship management with key decision-makers (Buyer, Dept. manager, Hotel GM) to secure attic stock, negotiation of Service Level Agreements under the guidance of the GM
  • Measurement of success of campaigns and promotions
  • Report writing, proposals & access of ERPLX information to facilitate customer service management
  • Daily customer contact reports.
  • To provide feedback on relevant market information
  • Any other activities and new initiatives which enhance the development & growth of the AAGS brand
  • Sale of keycards to existing clients
  • Sale of Service Level Agreements
  • Maintain accurate pipeline
  • Report accurately on orders and sales expectations for reporting reasons
  • Ensuring procedures are followed as per SOP
  • To drive Sales and marketing of Company products in selected markets/segments of South Africa.
  • Fulfillment of Sales budget and profitability responsibility for assigned markets/ segments.
  • To make sure all overdue payments are paid on time and manage receivables effectively in coordination with Accounts head.
  • To provide Management Monthly forecast report, Quarterly forecasts etc for Sales
  • Provide Weekly activities/ Sales report.
  • To prepare Annual budgets in coordination with Sales staff and General Manager.
  • To do value selling and implement Company value strategy approach.
  • Responsible for Company’s clients overall satisfaction with product line in assigned areas.
  • Quarterly visits to all clients in region and report generated to advise on current supplier for consumables
