Description:

SUMMARY:

CREGG are currently recruiting a Sales Executive to join a leading manufacturer and installer of modular buildings in the North Kilkenny region.
The Sales Executive is a key role in helping the sales department develop and execute on their sales strategy. Reporting into the Sales Manager, the Sales Executive will assist in preparation of tenders, client presentations, maintenance of client accounts and development of marketing materials. You will also carry out research on markets and competitors helping develop new markets and product categories. You will also assist in quotations preparation and other sales administration.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years in Sales role (ideally construction/construction product industry)
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a high level of teamwork and be very capable of working under own initiative.
  • Competent in Microsoft office suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Sales Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives including revenue targets.
  • Deal with initial sales queries – phone, email, or walk-in. Monitor e-tenders for projects distributing to relevant personnel internally.
  • Conduct Market research to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Gather customer feedback, in a formal method, to inform future planning and strategy.
  • Provide sales administrative assistance to sales team.
  • Log and distribute follow up client requests, snags, maintenance requests etc.
  • Prepare sales paperwork and issue to accounts for invoicing.
  • Prepare and carry out customer presentations.
  • Develop knowledge of product and key unique selling points (USP’s)
  • Cultivate and maintain good relationships with customers.
  • Act as primary point of contact for initial sales queries.
  • Identify sales opportunities (cross selling and up-selling) to maximise revenue from existing customers.
  • Keep track and record of all sales activity – log calls, opportunities, successes.
  • Implement corrective actions to address deviations from sales targets.
  • Work closely with projects and operations teams to ensure client/customer focus is always represented.
  • Take lead on creation of Marketing materials – Product pictures, site photos, input to website content, social media posting.
