ABOUT THE EMPLOYER:

A Local company with strong presence internationally and across the nation. They specialize in premium frozen food like seafood, Japanese food, ready to eat products which are mostly halal-certified.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Sales Development: Actively seek new business opportunities in outstation territories to expand market share and achieve sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, wholesalers, and distributors, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Daily Reporting: Provide detailed and accurate daily reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback to the Headquarter Sales Manager.
  • Task Scheduling: Plan and organize daily sales activities, including client visits, meetings, and product demonstrations, adhering to the schedule provided by the Headquarter Sales Manager.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, providing valuable insights to the Headquarter Sales Manager for strategic decision-making.
  • Sales Targets: Work towards achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with the Headquarter Sales Manager, keeping them informed about the progress, challenges, and opportunities in the outstation territories.
  • Product Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of the FMCG product portfolio, ensuring effective communication of product features and benefits to clients.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and agreements with clients, wholesalers, and distributors, ensuring alignment with company goals and policies.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Participate in any sales activities when needed. i.e. warehouse sales, food exhibition, etc. To carry out any other duties, responsibilities as assigned by the Management as required.

Job Requirements: 

  • Able to converse in English, Mandarin and Malay. 
  • Have own transports and willing to visit client.
