Description:
A) EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Home and renovation sales with significant customer exposure preferably in a role focused on winning/acquiring new accounts
- Proven track record in identifying and exploiting business opportunities and winning new accounts in sales-cycle and exposure to business development, partnerships, contracts, customer management, and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of Singapore renovation industry and trends
- Solid business acumen and commercial skills, with exposure to effective contract management at all level of seniority, and having developed industry and customer contacts at all levels.
- Ability to produce accurate and concise reports in plain and error free language.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to achieve challenging targets despite significant obstacles
- Proven evidence of successful team work in a matrix organization. Demonstrated evidence of having successfully worked within multi-functional teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and a proven ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural matrix environment
B) QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma
- Ideally, an additional business qualification
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and deliver new Sales opportunities with singapore based interior designer.
- Manage in an organized and systematic fashion, develop business through a combination of methods that may include all or in part: research, lead generation, prospecting, networking and in-person appointments with new and inactive customers.
- Analyze renovation ecosystem, including but not limited to regulators, partners and industry standards.
- Understand the decision-making processes of key decision makers/stakeholders of interior designer in Singapore
- Maximize contribution margin and revenue objectives
- Provide input to team members for new products requirement
- Develop strategic-channel relationships, formulate alliances required, either extending existing partnerships or proposing newpartnerships required in particular sales situations
- Create an action plan for value marketing, technical marketing, and sales, in order to establish WanSerns Supplies as the preferred supplier
- Identify sales opportunities for WanSerns Supplies products and target those opportunities in accordance with the action plan outlined above
- Meet objectives set by the Sales manager
- Ensure that within the boundary of the position authority, legal and ethical standards of WanSerns Supplies are fully applied
- This position requires the closest cooperation and on-going communication with other team members including sales and operation people.
Quantitative Metrics:
- Accountable for Sales revenue through acquisition of new business and expansion of existing accounts.
- Contribution Margin (Revenues – COGS – directly attributable country & customer billable costs such as R&D and marketing costs)
- To understand and influence customer budget allocation
- Introduction of newproducts and services
- Customer satisfaction (measured by customer satisfaction survey etc)
- Accuracy and Timeliness of sales forecasts
