Description:
- Perform financial analysis to support sales strategies, pricing decisions, and business development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast sales performance, revenue projections, and profitability.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales targets, incentive plans, and commission structures.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into sales performance and financial results.
- Conduct variance analysis and root cause investigations to explain deviations from budget and forecast.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic plans.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including revenue recognition and accruals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Accounting, to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support to senior leadership as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in finance, preferably in sales finance, FP&A, or related areas.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive projects to completion.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude and a customer-centric mindset.
