Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is a plus
- 3+ years of previous experience in supply chain planning roles, with emphasis on cross-functional coordination, preferably in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret supply chain data and metrics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in evaluating financial risks and opportunities associated with supply chain planning decisions
- Deep understanding of supply chain planning processes, including SIOP implementation
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with supply chain planning tools and systems, as well as experience in using metrics for decision-making
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in uncertain situations and effectively manage risks associated with supply chain planning
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are on the lookout for a proactive and meticulous SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) professional to join our vibrant Operations team. As a SIOP Specialist, you will spearhead the enhancement of our supply chain efficiency; from forecasting demand to orchestrating seamless inventory management, you will collaborate cross-functionally to guarantee on-time product delivery across the APAC region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process ensuring alignment with established cadences and business strategies
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders (sales, marketing, product management, finance and logistics) to gather data, metrics, and decisions related to supply chain operations
- Evaluate inventory policies and ideas proposed by various functional areas, ensuring consistency with business priorities
- Identify, assess, and decide on supply planning options considering associated financial risks and opportunities
- Implement the approved supply plan, coordinating with execution teams to ensure a seamless transition between planning and execution
- Manage communication and collaboration among functional teams to ensure alignment of supply plans and daily operations
- Data Analysis and reporting: Analyse key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to demand forecasting, inventory management and supply chain performance. Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing key insights, trends, and actionable recommendations for senior management review. Leverage data analytics tools and methodologies to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the supply chain
