The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Sales Manager Benelux, Dental Solutions Business, you will have the opportunity to lead 10 direct reports. Collaborate with dental and orthodontics colleagues in different functions like Sales, Marketing, Training & Education, Clinical Specialists, Channel Management, etc. including the EMEA Dental Solutions team. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading the Dental and Orthodontics sales regions in Benelux with approx. $30Mio POS sales
  • Coaching and managing of 10 direct reports, 9 Field Sales Reps and 1 Clinical Specialist via performance management and the cultural elements
  • Implement the marketing concepts, daily operations and generating new demand incl. new customer acquisition to reach and overachieve sales targets
  • Supports local dealer activities e.g., events and trainings, Mid Markets (dentist chain) and project management e.g., team member of EMEA projects or processes
  • Develop and implement the dental & orthodontics sales strategy, using CRM system (SalesForce)
  • Willingness to travel/co-travel with Field Sales Reps regarding 1:1 coaching and at customer calls

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/Apprenticeship degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Uses leadership and supervisory skills necessary for managing people e.g., goal settings, documentation, conflict resolution, delegation, motivation, strategic planning, etc.
  • 5-8 years of sales experience/ skills in former positions e. g. a Sales Rep/ Supervisor or Account Manager

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Project- & change management-, Communication-, Negotiations-Skills etc.
  • Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to sales responsibility is required
  • Generally, requires the ability to communicate in written and spoken English, Dutch/French are a plus
  • Acquire solid market know-how (competitors, trends, etc.). Utilizes this business knowledge to educate others

Work location: Remote
Travel: May include up to 60% in Benelux
