Description:
£60,000-£75,000 Basic + Package
Semi-Remote role with 1-2 Days in the office in Liverpool.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Business Manager - Director Designate to lead air conditioning (AC) service operations for a market leading client in the AC & Refrigeration industry.
As the Service Manager - Director Designate, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of AC maintenance, repair, and installation services to our valued customers, with the goal of transitioning into a Service Director role.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior service management role within the HVAC industry
- Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for delivering high-quality service
- Demonstrated potential and readiness to transition into a Service Operations Director role

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of skilled AC engineers and ensure they provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of service calls, ensuring timely and reliable response to customer needs
- Collaborate with the sales and installation teams to ensure seamless integration of service activities
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the AC service division
