QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Sales.
- Experience in a Resort Hospitality environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of the local market is an asset.
- Knowledge in using sales automation (DELPHI) & PMS systems.
- Experience working collaboratively with revenue management.
- Excellent command of the English language – written and verbal. Other languages an asset.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills essential.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads effectively.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate team members to ensure a well-balanced work environment.
Responsibilities:
The role of the Sales Manager is to solicit business that enables the hotel to meet and/or exceed revenue goals in the Rooms and Food & Beverage Divisions. The Sales Manager will participate in concentrated sales efforts and will be required to work within a set of quotas and targets. The successful candidate will be expected to prospect for new business, conduct site inspections & familiarization trips, organize client events, and attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings. They will also be required to foster strong relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, tourism councils, and our Global Sales Offices.
