JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our inbound sales team, focusing on serving larger brands. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of Account Executives, overseeing their performance, and driving overall sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in the packaging industry or related field is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, lead, mentor, and coach a team of Account Executives and Business Development Representatives, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to drive individual and team performance.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to effectively penetrate markets, acquire new customers, and expand revenue streams.
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, tracking progress and performance to ensure objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and account management teams to align sales efforts with overall company goals and initiatives.
  • Ability to manage a personal portfolio of key customer accounts, nurturing relationships and driving sales opportunities to closure.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize sales performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our products and services and foster strategic partnerships.
