Description:

Mercanta Limited is an importer of specialty coffee, supplying roasters across the globe with the world’s finest green Arabica beans.
We are looking for a Sales Manager to develop long-term, trusting relationships with our existing and new clients, tailor offers to clients’ requirements as well as to participate in evaluation and sourcing of green beans for the Singapore office which service the Asia region. The position will be based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers
  • Develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Proactive and ensure prompt replies to clients’ queries
  • Generate new leads to grow customer base

Requirements and skills:

  • Reasonable knowledge about the specialty coffee industry
  • Coffee cupping experience
  • Proven sales experience
  • Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
