Sales Manager - Paper Solutions, Valmet Automation
Main Responsibilities:
As Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of planning, directing, and coordinating the sales of our Automation Business Line’s products.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Account management for Paper Automation customers and driving sales according company sales and profitability targets
  • Coordinating customer targets within the Automation sales team and other Valmet Business Lines
  • Representing Valmet Automation business strategy and Must Win initiatives in the area
  • Planning and managing accounts with assigned sales targets
  • Developing and maintaining customer relations and develop strong Sales Funnel in the region
  • Ensuring sales process and legal compliance following Valmet Code of Conduct.
  • Responsible for Area and Business line Sales reporting
  • Focusing on customer satisfaction and feedback
  • Handling contract management for all Paper Solution Automation business
  • Driving new customer acquisition, especially in adjacent markets
  • Acting as the first escalation level for all Valmet Automation Business
  • To demonstrate a high level of HSE mindset and knowledge about HSE procedures and practices, applying this knowledge as a part of daily work routine

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Engineering
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, local languages are a benefit
  • At least 4-6 Years Sales Experience in Middle East region.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • OT and IT skills, ability to drive the local OT/IT merge in our Industry
  • People management in a matrix organization
  • Be an effective team builder and problem solver, exhibiting a collaborative management style and the ability to bring out the best in people through example.
  • Knowledge of key cultural aspects and ability to adapt communication style accordingly.
  • Automation experience in Paper production or Converting processes is must.
  • Pulp & Paper process knowledge is must.
  • Willingness to travel local (30-50%) in Middle East countries and international.
