Description:

UL Solutions Renewables is currently seeking a Senior Sales Manager to grow our advisory and digital business across APAC .
As leader of the sales organization in APAC, you will provide leadership and direction to managers and sales representatives to grow the renewable advisory and digital business across all regional geographies including both technical advisory and software.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead development and motivational opportunities for sales teams and professionals by coaching and transferring the knowledge of sales techniques, service offerings, and industry knowledge to the sales team to drive results
  • Promote UL advisory and digital capabilities in the region with our existing and new potential customers including our digital software portfolio (wind developer tools, software and platforms, forecasting services and Homer Front) as well as Technical Advisory support for Technical Due Diligence for M&A transactions for Wind/Solar and Storage, Owner’s Engineer, Lender Technical Advisor, Energy Assessment and Asset Advisory services.
  • Accountable for the performance, results, order and revenue targets of multiple related teams potentially across software and technical advisory in APAC.
  • Develop go to market plans together with regional sales and business leadership.
  • Responsible to coach and grow the sales organization within the region while providing regular guidance and feedback as well as identifying growth opportunities for high performers.
  • Lead client engagement by developing and managing relationships at middle and top management and key decision maker levels for large and medium customers.
  • Develop and manage sales transaction pipelines and forecasting and hold sales staff accountable for assigned sales targets. Provide coaching to sales staff to ensure pipeline and forecasting information is properly utilized.
  • Maintain and expand UL’s relationships with our key and large customers in the region including developers, utilities, asset owners and operators as well as investors and lenders.
  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree) in a related discipline plus Generally 10 Years or more of related discipline experience or demonstrated competency including 5 Years or more of relevant management/leadership experience or demonstrated competency in Renewable Energy
  • Demonstrated sales management experience in renewable energy
  • Ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules to senior level management and customers
  • Expert on sales strategies and tactics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to maintain good relationships with clients
  • Travel: 30-40%
