Description:

Elomatic, a leading provider of design and consultancy services in the maritime sector, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team in Finland within the Business Unit Marine & Offshore Energy.
As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our market presence within the shipyard segment across Finland, Scandinavia, and the Baltic Countries. The main customers for this role are shipyards, turnkey and equipment suppliers. After an introductory phase, the sales area shall gradually expand.

The main sales responsibilities of this role include:

  • Sell Elomatic design and consultancy services to shipyards and the maritime shipyard supplier network
  • Maintain business relations with existing customers
  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Gather market intelligence within the shipyard segment
  • Drive sales initiatives and business development efforts
  • Collaborate within the Sales team to enhance sales processes
  • Lead sales projects and prepare offers
  • Develop new business and products for own customer groups
  • Work closely with resource managers and department leads across all Elomatic locations
  • Supervise selected projects

Our array of products and services includes comprehensive general marine consulting & engineering services (ship concept, basic and detail design, onsite services). We also provide shipyard consultancy services and a suite of technical analyses services encompassing (FEM, CFD), visualization, scanning, and more.
The primary marketing responsibilities involve planning, developing, preparing and maintaining marketing materials in collaboration with the Marine & Offshore Energy sales team and Elomatic marketing department. This role includes mapping, presenting, planning, organizing, and participating in exhibitions and conferences, as well as monitoring and proposing suitable events for participation. Additionally, providing support to Marine and Offshore Energy BU marketing with a specific focus on shipyards is also an integral aspect of the role.
