Description:

We have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our New South Wales Masterplanned Communities team. With Stockland’s ongoing success and growth in the region comes opportunity and as such we require a Sales Manager to develop and maintain a high performing team.

Responsible for the Illawara and Southwest Sydney Regions the Sales Manager is a key leadership role focused on meeting the sales targets of three developing communities. Splitting your time onsite and at our Sydney head office the role reports to the State Sales Manager and has three main components, those being:

  • Project Leadership and Strategic Planning
  • Marketing and Promotions Management
  • Sales Management

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Property Management, Business, Marketing or equivalent are highly desirable (however, not mandatory).
  • Industry experience is necessary along with knowledge of legislative requirements, processes, statutory and regulatory frameworks relating to all aspects of manufactured/residential homes will be highly regarded.
  • Experienced people leader with the ability to manage and lead a high performing team of Sales Professionals
  • Possess a high level of financial and commercial business acumen.
  • Proven track record in achieving group sales targets
  • Demonstrated application of sales and marketing techniques and frameworks
  • Extensive experience in managing and coaching sales team
  • Proven track record of achieving results through influencing, communication and relationship skills.

Responsibilities:

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve sales volume targets in accordance with approved budgets per project(s), including agreed investor / owner / builder ratio of sales.
  • Position sales activities, systems and processes to maximise enquiry conversion and minimise cancellations of deposits per project(s).
  • Set the pricing strategy for each release to maximise sales potential
  • Ensure sales risk are mitigated through diversification and ongoing forecast for each project based on pipeline, marketing offering and competitor activity
  • Build, nurture and retain and high performance and diverse sales team in accordance with Stockland Sales capability framework
  • Drive ongoing development and coaching of sales skills techniques and behaviours in accordance with the Stockland Sales methodology
  • Create a diverse, inclusive and supportive environment where people excel
  • Effective management and experience with using CRM; Salesforce highly desirable.
  • Seek and maintain a library of industry, market and competitor activity to inform decisions in relation to the direction and performance of the region/projects (s)
  • Build Stockland reputation as a trustworthy, moral and ethical organisations that customers want to do business with, delivering exceptional service that embeds Stockland as the preferred product choice in the market.
  • Represent Stockland’s product and services in a true and accurate manner
  • Enhance Stockland’s leadership position and reputation in the industry/customers through sustainable sales practices and adherence to the structured sales process.
  • Provide through leadership on strategic issues, and contribute to the integration of project disciplines (i.e. development, marketing, design and customer service) in a manner that maximises project outcomes
