Sales Manager of Nonprofit Technology Solutions reports to the Chief Customer Officer and?plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission and impact of nonprofit organizations through strategic technology advice. In this role, the Manager of Nonprofit Technology Solutions is responsible for developing new business to meet Tech Impact’s revenue and strategic goals. This includes managing the sales pipeline(s), creating and managing relationships with nonprofit communities and partners, working directly with potential customers to provide proposals for requested technology services, and managing a team of sales associates to meet sales goals. Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify technology needs and opportunities.
  • Manage sales pipelines by understanding marketing initiatives, campaigns, and partnerships.
  • Work directly with potential customers to provide tailored proposals for technology services.
  • Close deals to meet annual sales goals related to technology projects.
  • Staff Management
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales associates.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and set team goals.
  • Compliance and Reporting
  • Adhere to legal and ethical standards in technology management.
  • Provide reports and analysis to assist with business forecasting and decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive accountability of your team.
  • Instill a high-performance culture in the team with a focus on teamwork, service excellence and ownership for resolving customer issues.
  • Ensure that resources, capabilities, and capacity are available to meet the expectations of our clients in accordance with contracted service levels.
  • Maintain and communicate regular status reports to the Chief Customer Officer.
  • Help the organization be thought leaders in the nonprofit technology sector.

Essential Skills for Success in Position

  • At least 5 years management experience in a service provider role.
  • Prior leadership and operational experience.
  • Strong communication skills throughout all levels of the organization, from senior leadership to front line.
  • Strong presentation skills: ability to lead meetings.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Have positive interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
