Description:

Requirements:

  • Degree in any of the sciences, food science and/or technology or business administration preferred
  • Experience in the B2B food ingredients business, customer-centric focused and go-to-market skills with contacts into lecithin traditional industries, like (Chocolate) Confectionary, Bakery, Spreads, Dairy, Infant, Specialized Nutrition, Pharma etc.
  • Profound knowledge on global Emulsifiers market, understanding of regional market landscape, dynamics and S&D (Non GMO & GMO – fluid, de-oiled, specialties)
  • Ingredient background from Emulsifiers/Lecithin industry highly appreciated, scientific and technical understanding of emulsifiers beneficial
  • Flexible and willingness to travel regularly within the region (50%)
  • Strong English language skills mandatory, 2nd language beneficial (can be German, French, Dutch or Spanish)
  • Independent and structured work
  • Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to work under very dynamic environments
  • Team spirit, result oriented and strong communication skills
  • Strong customer, service orientation and with “hunter” mentality
  • Ability to connect and work within international matrix organizatio

Responsibilities:

The sales manager actively maintains and expands our food customer base EMEA, drives customer projects and builds a solid project pipeline for sustainable business results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for Lecithin customers in EMEA, including the support of Key Accounts, distributors, regular Food Customers
  • Developing and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies within the EMEA market
  • Creating and fulfilling own sales plans and budget on the basis of market plans
  • Controlling all sales activities with existing and potential customers
  • Establish and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Monitoring the market and identify market potential
  • Develop customer concepts in cooperation with commercial, technical service and product development and application teams
