Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, preferably with prior experience of the finance industry in a similar role, with a minimum of 5+ years post education and relevant professional experience
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience
  • Experience in Salesforce platform is a must
  • Availability to work in US hours and occasionally weekends and/or holidays as needed (days off will be swapped in this case)
  • Has strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently, with initiative and integrity
  • Has investigative and proactive approach in problem solving

Responsibilities:

YOUR TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

The MSCI Sales Operations Team offers critical strategic and day-to-day support to the Sales Coverage and is actively involved in all aspects of the business across all functions and regions. The team is responsible for preparation and approval of wide range of legal documents working closely with Legal Department, provides a point of control to ensure correct booking of sales revenues, liaising with Finance Teams, and ensures timely delivery of data to MSCI’s clients. We are looking for a Sales Operations Associate to expand our team in Monterrey. In this role, our new team member will work closely with Sales and Sales Support Teams covering clients in Americas region.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management

  • Must have prior management or leadership experience
  • Lead, supervise, train, and guide team members
  • Self-motivated, work on own initiative, and be able to handle high pressure environment

Contract Creation and Management

  • Provide day-to-day support to Americas Sales Coverage in connection with the preparation and booking of license agreements.
  • Partnering with Sales Coverage and Legal Team to improve turnaround time of legal contracts
  • Draft, review, and approve a range of legal documents by collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and Legal Team.

Product and Service Activation and Deactivation

  • Grant access or deactivate a set delivery of products, data and software
  • Work with Client Service, Product, and Sales in resolving product delivery issues

Deal Management (New and Renewals)

  • Work closely with Revenue and Sales Coverage in closing deals and resolving contractual discrepancies to ensure deals are closed on time.
  • Partner with Sales Coverage with the extension or cancellation of licenses.
  • Collaborate with Sales Reporting and Revenue Team on actions involving adjustments on closed deals.
  • Take part in managing and reviewing new and renewal deals to ensure contractual/commercial details are accurately captured in Salesforce.
  • Check and manage notices of renewals are communicated to the client within a strict timeframe.
  • Liaise with Billing and Account Receivables Team to ensure prompt resolution of client payments or contractual issues

Ad hoc

  • Work with Product Management on product and process improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with Salesforce IT Team to use technology in improving process efficiencies and automation
