Job Purpose:

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a world leader in the tire manufacturing industry, Hankook Tire Canada is seeking a self-motivated experienced Sales Operations Assistant to join our successful Inside Sales team immediately.
The Sales Operations Assistant is responsible for coordinating all day-to-day Sales activities required for the customer’s orders to be processed accurately and efficiently in conjunction with Logistics Team. Accurate order processing, coordinating proper delivery date with the customers, notifying available delivery reception window to Logistics, managing customer’s back orders would be the key functions of the job.
The new hire will report to the Inside Sales Manager.
Core Competencies:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • At least 1 to 3 years work experience as Order Desk, Customer Service, Sales or similar roll
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook required
  • Familiarity with ERP System (SAP) preferred
  • Basic warehousing, distribution and domestic transportation knowledge required
  • Exceptional customer support, inquiries handling and issues resolving required
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English required
  • Individual contributor and great team player

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SAP to create Sales Order, Delivery Order, Shipment Notification
  • Inform Customers with confirmation on order received, provide ETA on backorders
  • Notify Logistics with proper Delivery order / Shipment created in SAP
  • Coordinate Available Reception Date/Time from customer with Logistics Team
  • Monitor all inbound shipments to ensure backorders to be filled promptly to customers
  • Communicate daily with sales, logistics, and customers to resolve issues
  • Maintains all files and records and adheres to all company policies, procedures, and SOP’s
  • Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by management
