Cloudera is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to support our Global Sales & Operations Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be part of a high performing team and will be a key business partner to our Global Sales Leadership, Global Operations Leadership Teams and FP&A.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, business planning and operational support, managing our global forecast roll up, partnering with internal stakeholders to scope, define and set our Corporate Sales Strategies; lead an organization designed to put into place operational support measures to drive, track and monitor our progress against the strategy and partner with sales leaders to optimize go to market coverage.
The Senior Manager is a key member of our broader Global GTM Operations Team, responsible for driving the performance and execution of our high-performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing this high performing team as it continues to mature and grow.

As a Senior Sales Operations Manager you will:

  • Partner with Global Sales & Operations Leadership Teams, take responsibility for formulating go to market strategies and execute operational plans to support the same.
  • Manage the Global Forecast Roll up, communicate to C suite executives on the associated business trends and displayed in a way that efficient business decisions can be made
  • Work cross-functionally to drive new business processes and improve our total customer experience.
  • Define and implement Key Performance Metrics to effectively manage and track against strategic goals. Partner with Operations, Compensation & Finance to ensure that these are aligned across the larger organization
  • Partner with our Business Analytics Team to define standardized dashboards that that visualize these KPI’s, that can be leveraged by Sales Leadership and Global Operations teams
  • Develop and enhance current operational infrastructure, with goal to build out best in class, optimized and automated solutions
  • Ability to interface effectively and establish quick credibility and confidence with cross-functional groups and Sales Leadership.
  • Agent for change, leading and delivering on company-wide initiatives and roll-outs
  • Program Manage the Planning cycle, working with the different stakeholders to ensure alignment, own the communication to ensure efficient roll out and liaise with the Global compensation team to ensure a successful roll out

We’re Excited about you if you have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of Sales Operations experience
  • Creative thinker with the ability to challenge existing processes, and propose new business solutions
  • Experience working and leading large-scale global and cross-functional projects
  • Must be highly motivated, results-driven, energetic, and capable of multitasking across a dynamic, rapidly growing, global organization
  • Sound analytical and business modeling skills required
  • Proven ability in implementing successful cross-functional programs and business processes in high growth environment required
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex business issues, while providing swift and scalable solutions
  • Strong business judgment, with ability to balance sales growth while maintaining program integrity
  • Strong skills in influencing a virtual teams across the globe
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required
  • Working knowledge of Global CRM, ERP, BI & Core Forecasting tools, with experience building management dashboard capability, and leading automation initiatives, a key competence
