About our Team
The Sales Compensation (aka, “VC”) department is a shared services organization within LNRS (LexisNexis Risk Solutions) Sales Operations responsible for calculating and processing performance and variable compensation payments for sales and sales support functions. We strive to pay accurately and timely and produce results we are proud of. We aspire to build a foundation to accommodate future sales growth, continually evaluating opportunities to automate processes, enable transparency and balance our support model.
About the Role
This position exists to analyze and lead the VC department through accomplishments of daily tasks, leveraging technology and automation to improve processes. Will be responsible for completing individual monthly tasks, as well as planning and coordinating efforts across the team.
This role can be hybrid or remote in the US.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Gathering, analyzing and preparing (independently) information for purposes of monthly VC processing, forecasting and Finance reconciliation.
  • Striving to bring processes and tools in alignment with industry best practices and trends. Identifying, recommending, documenting and executing on process improvement opportunities.
  • Identifying and collaborate with internal stakeholders to reduce or eliminate process bottlenecks.
  • Supporting monthly VC processing and reporting activities, including building automation to create data inputs, adjustments and load files.
  • Questioning inconsistency in information. Make recommendations to resolve through process improvement or data validation. Identifying problem areas when looking at information, seeing patterns, trends or missing pieces.
  • Leading the reporting, forecasting, balancing and budgeting activity for the various functional areas as needed.
  • Leveraging technology tools and automation to expedite speed to processing.
  • Manage projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate ability to quickly gain an understanding of complex processes
  • Possess exceptional organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibits a professional demeanor, business maturity and technical knowledge. Demonstrate mature collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to build consensus among groups with competing interests
  • Able to adapt quickly to change and serves as a change agent . Manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate advanced problem-assessment analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, Power Automate
  • Demonstrate skills with data modeling, data queries, data design and data visualization
  • Possess a BS/BA equivalent. Additionally, have 5 -7 years of experience in a sales support environment. 3+ years of experience in process design/redesign background. 2+ years of experience in project management experience
