THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re currently looking for a Sales Planning Analyst to join our Global Sales Planning team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a strategic thinker that enjoys analyzing data, patterns & trends to create forecasts that inform across the business. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed. And someone who doesn’t mind the occasional bit of sustainable travel in the service of a cleaner form of electric performance.
The Global Sales Planning team works to handle sales data globally across the organization. This includes all markets, vehicle models and model derivatives. The team collects, collates, and analyses this data in order to provide consistent data to various departments across the organization including finance, targets and budgets.
This position is located at our Gothenburg HQ. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be expected to analyze sales data in order to create forecasts that impact finance, sales targets, and budgets. Working as a member of the global sales planning team, you’ll be instrumental in sales planning, forecasting, process development, and sales reporting. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you’ll be responsible for:

Sales Planning/Forecasts/Targets

  • Ongoing tracking and analysis of Product, Sales Channel and Market mix to detect trends and seasonality to be used in the forecasting, planning, and target-setting processes.
  • Preparation of Market and Regional forecasts and volume requests together with the assigned markets, including the preparation of presentation materials.
  • Tracking and analysis of inventory development including identifying potential inventory excesses or shortfalls. Working with closely with logistics to receive a delivery plan and capacity plan for each market.
  • Monthly and ad hoc preparation of sales volume data for the management teams, including the production request and product distribution.
  • Collect qualitative information to be used in the sales planning process from other departments such as marketing, R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, etc.
  • Liaise with the order management and fleet sales department on order related questions.
  • Analyze external market data and provide input re market share and market developments.
  • Track, analyse and provide input on the current sales and order trends in relation to the determined KPIs.
  • Monitor and manage the SAP IBP input and produce reports as required. As well as providing training on this system where necessary

Process Development

  • Actively support in the development of processes, defining timelines etc.
  • Give training sessions on the sales planning process
  • Support in various tasks relating to the sales planning function.

Sales Reporting & Projects

  • Participation in sales planning projects as a project analyst and subject matter expert
  • Participate in the implementation of sales planning and forecasting software.
  • Develop and improve analysis tools to be used by the respective parties in the day-to-day work.
