We’re looking for our next Sales Reporting Analyst. Could it Be You?
The purpose of the Sales Reporting Analyst is to provide data analytics about the sales program for each Line of Business (LOB) across the QFG Enterprise, allowing Senior Management and Business Owners to better understand their onboarding performances, and to also present and interpret data so as to make informed business decisions that will improve and maximize the sales output and conversion rates, resulting in the maximum level of growth for each line of business.
What’s it like working as the Sales Reporting Analyst at Questrade?
The Sales Reporting Analyst will be an integral part of the Sales Effectiveness Team in providing insights into sales programs for each LOB. They will be responsible for actively working with key stakeholders to capture the sales performance metrics and KPIs for each LOB across the QFG Enterprise, and to convert those elements into a functional report that can be used by each business leader to monitor and track their LOB’s sales operation.
The Analyst will also employ best practices in Microsoft Power BI in the areas of dataset creation, data visualization, DAX and storytelling elements, to provide leaders within the Sales organization with the insights (dashboards, visualizations, insights, analysis) to make increasingly sophisticated decisions about their business.
The Sales Reporting Analyst will also work to build reports in and extract data from other supporting systems, such as the Genesys Cloud contact centre system, and the Salesforce FSC platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading discussions with various stakeholders to address and answer specific sales related questions
  • Working with key stakeholders to capture the sales performance metrics and KPIs for each LOB
  • Identifying, documenting, and standardizing conversion metrics and sales KPIs across the QFG Enterprise
  • Capturing requirements and providing consultative guidance on solution/delivery and strategic options
  • Employing, demonstrating and advocating best practices in the areas of dataset creation, data visualization and data storytelling using Microsoft Power BI
  • Providing ad hoc data queries for business owners
  • Generating and delivering scheduled sales reports on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders on business cases for new programs and initiatives
  • Creating unified datasets to support business needs by connecting and transforming data from different sources to provide comprehensive analysis and strategic insights
  • Compiling data findings into presentation format, so as to be distributed to business owners and other stakeholders
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements in line with business objectives
  • Demonstrating a sense of urgency and a strong commitment to achieving deadlines

So are YOU our next Sales Reporting Analyst? You are if you…

  • Hold a Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related fields
  • Have 2+ years of strong PowerBI platform experience (DataSet Creation, Data Visualization, DAX), preferably in a contact centre environment
  • Have experience with Salesforce CRM and Genesys Cloud
  • Have 2+ years of experience in Implementation of Value Adding Data Visualization Design and Best Practices
  • Have experience with business analytics, business intelligence (BI) tools, data retrieval techniques and analytics, including the ability to interpret data results/outcomes to support senior executive decision making
  • Have working knowledge of SQL query and Power query, involving large datasets and multiple data sources
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Are comfortable using Python
  • Are an expert in distilling data into actionable business insights
  • Are a team player and self-starter with great interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented attitude
  • Have a good understanding of the “sales” function and basic sales processes
  • Have strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills

Additional kudos if you…

  • Are knowledgeable and passionate about financial markets and investment products
  • Have contact center experience, ideally in financial services
  • Have experience working in an inside sales role or other sales related functions
  • Are familiar with Agile concepts including backlogs, sprints, and planning boards
