Our client is a leading global company in filtration technology. Under its two business units, Transportation and Life Sciences & Environment, the Group develops intelligent filtration and separation solutions that enable cleaner mobility, cleaner air, cleaner water, and cleaner industry.
Your new role

Due to the big expansion of the Group in Romania, our client is looking for a Sales Representative to develop the portfolio and partnerships with its end users and not only. The main tasks of the mission are:

  • Searches for new customers who can benefit from the company’s products or services and maximise customer potential in specific regions.
  • Visiting customers, workshops, wholesaling points on the market and preparing visit reports
  • Collecting requested info from the market (demand, delivery, prices for manufactured products and competitors’ cross refs in all sales areas, competitors’ activities, prospective clients and consumers, complaints about products, etc)
  • Analyses trends in the development of market sectors (car, truck, agricultural, industrial filters).
  • Develops long-term relationships with clients, through management and interpretation of their requests.
  • Provides technical assistance and product education.
  • Works on support services and provides technical support as needed. Organises and conducts product training.
  • Prepares reports for managers and keeps customer records.
  • Coordinates sales projects
  • Supports marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events, that can happen during weekends.
  • Creates technical presentations and demonstrates how the product meets customers’ needs to both customers and other sales team members.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Mandatory experience as a Sales Representative in the automotive industry, ideally.
  • The willingness to work on the road daily and hybrid.
  • Fluent English.
  • Excellent knowledge in the industrial sector in the South of Romania: metal, glass industries, manufacturing, engineering, electronics, and industrial equipment. Experience in the industrial sector is very important.
