Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in a hunter sales role, preferably within the food testing or related industry.
  • Strong ability to generate leads, develop quotations, and convert them into business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to input into broader sales and marketing strategies.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced service environment.
  • Thrive on the challenge of multi-tasking, problem-solving, and working with ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
  • Identify and generate new prospects through various channels.
  • Follow up on leads to develop quotations and convert them into new business opportunities.
  • Sales Achievement:
  • Sell our comprehensive range of food testing services to meet and exceed targets, KPIs, and overall business objectives.
  • Ensure a strategic and planned approach to customer management for sustained revenue, relationship building, and customer retention.
  • Market Strategy and Intelligence:
  • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Identify market sectors, new business opportunities, and potential threats.
  • Provide insights for reporting, forecasting, planning, and new business initiatives.
  • Pricing and Negotiation:
  • Conduct price reviews and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure pricing meets profit expectations.
  • CRM and Systems Management:
  • Maintain up-to-date information in the CRM system.
  • Ensure all customer interactions and sales activities are accurately documented.
