The Sales Support Associate assists in supporting the Sales Team by gathering materials, communicating relevant information both internally and externally, and facilitating team activities to maximize performance. The sales support associate serves as the main point of contact for Account Managers and in house customers to achieve on time delivery for FOB shipments, ensuring order deadlines are met, and work as a team to help the Sales department achieve its annual goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Incoterms Shipping Knowledge a plus
  • Experience in the toy/baby/costume/pets industry
  • Experience in a consumer goods industry
  • Experience in sales

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new orders and troubleshoot what is needed by working closely with external team members
  • Managing order flow process from beginning to end and proposing solutions based on timelines to ensure on time deliverables
  • Use dedicated software (SAGE and X3) to process and track orders
  • Check inventory and work with the Procurement to locate requested products and submit new production requests, if needed
  • Review license approvals for Territories and work with our Legal team to ensure orders can be processed for the requested products
  • Review orders for accuracy and attend weekly multi department meetings to review the progress of orders between other departments
  • Monitor the process, identify any shortcomings, and propose improvements
  • Communicate with internal departments for order requirements such as packaging, marketing and the Brand team for special requests
  • Assist Account Managers with sample requests as needed
  • Assist in the preparation and organizing of marketing material, quote sheets, etc
  • Perform other duties as assigned
