In this role you will provide sales and administrative support to The Signal Group Sales team, ensuring a smooth customer experience from enquiry to shipping, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and encouraging repeat purchasing.
Key responsibilities will include;
Receive and assess customer enquiries from a variety of sources, including via the website, sales staff, and marketing campaigns. This includes monitoring the customer support inbox.
Assist with answering inbound customer service phone calls to provide support with various aspects of the customer journey, including assistance with placing orders, as required.
Respond to customer enquiries and internal communications in a prompt and professional manner, directing enquiries to appropriate team members or departments as needed.
Facilitate a smooth client onboarding experience, including portals, account applications, and deposit payments.
Develop an understanding of customer needs and preferences to provide suitable product recommendations, including gathering necessary information and clarifying any questions.
Prepare and deliver accurate quotes to customers based on their specifications.
Ensure pricing and terms and competitive whilst meeting Company profitability targets.
Research and identify appropriate products from local and overseas suppliers that meet customer requirements.
Evaluate supplier options to select the most appropriate supplier, based on factors including quality, pricing, and delivery.
