Description:
Genesis Aircraft Services are seeking to hire a Sales Support Executive to the Sales team as it relates to Genesis’s aircraft component trading subsidiary - ReGEN.
The Sales support executive will be responsible for the responsible for the optimisation, sales and trading of aircraft and engine components and will be integrated in future transactions to contribute towards the upside potential of consignment/trading part sales.
This is an excellent opportunity for the preferred candidate to liaise and work with multiple departments from a Sales perspective within a start-up aircraft parts trading business in a well-positioned aircraft leasing company, with strong long-term shareholders.
Role and Responsibilities
Sales Support
Developing long term relationships with Airline/MRO accounts.
Price quotes, review quote activity and initiate follow ups.
Processing orders and directly addressing customer inquiries.
Develop account strategies and actions plans to expand current accounts.
Managing all customer service communications via email and phone.
Tracking (back) orders to ensure timely delivery and meet specific customer needs.
Ensuring the inventory management system (QUANTUM) has up to date market information for high demand units.
Recording and managing customer data in our system.
Additional functions
Attend industry events and trade shows.
Creating and overseeing repair orders.
Progress chasing ageing repair orders.
Monitoring core returns for all open exchange orders.
Handling complaints and accurately managing warranty claims following established protocols.
Skills and Experience
2-3 years of experience in customer service specifically in the aviation industry
Experience using Quantum preferred but not essential
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Office, Outlook, Excel)
Smart, proactive, self-starter with a sense of urgency and “can do” attitude
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to manage large and/or complex corporate accounts
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong planning and organizational abilities, with a keen focus on quality, attention to detail, and a proactive commercial approach
Demonstrated commercial awareness and goal-oriented mindse
