Description:
We are seeking a diligent Sales Order Processor to join our Customer Service Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently processing purchase orders, handling daily invoicing tasks, providing exceptional customer service by answering phones and responding to inquiries via email, managing backorders, and assisting with various clerical duties as assigned. Additionally, this role will involve collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in order entry or similar roles, preferably in a customer service environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Accurately process purchase orders in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary information is included and processed correctly.
Generate and send out daily invoices to customers.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and helpful information.
Monitor and process backorders as inventory becomes available, keeping customers informed of status updates.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of month-end and year-end tasks.
Perform other clerical duties as assigned by management.
