Description:
Position Summary
Purpose of the Role
Lead Consumer Electronics Group Home Appliances Sales Department to ensure stronger focus on the sales of Samsung Home Appliances products. Execute strategic sales and product directions . Lead, manage and coach the members of the Home Appliances Sales Team.
Role and Responsibilities
Key objectives
- Sales and Profit Growth: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and profit targets through strategic planning and execution. Analyze market trends and performance data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Marketing Strategy: Support and implement comprehensive cooperative marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage customers, and drive sales. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful campaign launches.
- Product Planning: Plan and execute product launches, promotions, and improvements.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and increase revenue. Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations of the sales department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes. Collaborate with other departments to align strategies and optimize overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up short and long term sales strategy and development plan for the Consumer Electronics Home Appliances product categories in line with the Headquarters directions (yearly, monthly)
- Active support to develop Samsung’s Consumer Electronics Home Appliances brand awareness
- Prepare, create and support yearly commercial planning of Consumer Electronics Home Appliances products
- Supervise the planning and controlling of the sales budget
- Supervise the sales channel and own stock management
- Set targets for sales of Consumer Electronics Home Appliances products and team members
- Plan and execute channel strategy (long term) to ensure reaching Consumer Electronics Home Appliances sales targets
- Plan and execute channel actions (short term) to ensure reaching Consumer Electronics Home Appliances targets
- Monitor sales progress and market trends
- People management supervise & lead the Key Account Managers to reach company goals
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports
- Ensure proper cooperation of Consumer Electronics Home Appliances Sales team with other departments
Skills and Qualifications
Requirements
- People management experience
- College or university degree in business, economics or commerce, marketing specialization is an advantage
- Several years of work experience in the electronics market, preferably in Home Appliances
- Fluent Hungarian and English skills, both written and verbal is a must
- MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Structured and focused strategic communication and negotiations skills
- Analytical ability, strategic and pro-active attitude, good teamwork skills
- Entrepreneur mind set, organized way of working
- Strait open minded personality, based on high ethical standards
- Good adaptation skills
