As Sales Trader Biotickets, you will be part of the Clean Transport team, where we assist market players to find the right buyers and sellers; We support creators of Biotickets to contribute to their trading capability and liquidity in their market and the switch towards fossil-free alternatives. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An understanding of the renewable energy market, related to the buy and sell side of transactions, negotiation, and other macroeconomic factors.
  • Knowledge the Gasoline & Diesel markets and blending would be a plus.
  • Experienced in analysing global policies and their repercussions within the Renewable Energy sector.

You, as Sales Trader Biotickets, will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the Biofuels desk. The focus is on Sales & Trading Biotickets, and contribute to the transition to a sustainable energy future. You will focus on monitoring the market, matching buyers and sellers, developing business strategies and exploring and connecting worldwide opportunities. In this niche market, we use our strong position, knowledge and financial intelligence to match buyers and sellers in order to optimize deal structures.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Conducting market research to analyse market trends and potential clients to help inform business decisions.
  • Initiating and negotiating of Bioticket deals with suppliers, producers, traders and consumers.
  • Contribute to ticket market trading capability to support liquidity for clients.
  • New business, where cold calling is crucial to building up your own client portfolio and maintaining existing relationships.
  • Creating market analyses and evaluating sales opportunities.

Conducting research and business development to generate business opportunities on the environmental commodities market.

  • Following up with your deals in corporation with Legal, and the Back-Office
  • Attending conferences and visiting clients - yes you can travel for work!
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English. (Other language like Spanish or French would be a major plus)
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and business development – cold calling, holding meetings with senior executives and converting leads into clients.
  • Persuasive, strategic, and empathic ability with excellent communication skills
  • Eager, energetic, curious, and proactive by nature.
  • You are flexible to adapt to the market conditions. The Renewable Energy sector is fluid and constantly changes.
